Compound Weave Conveyor Belts, heat resistant conveyor belt

Compound weave conveyor belts, which are also called Metal cord weave conveyor belts, refer to series of right and left spirals compound together to form a tighter conveying surface comparing with balanced or universal weave belts. This tightly woven structure makes compound weave conveyor belts ideal for baking, conveying small products and top heavy loads.

Cordweave belts offer an extremely close and flat mesh for applications where very small items are being conveyed. Cordweave also provides a uniform heat transfer across the belt due to its high density and smooth carrying surface. These characteristics make Cordweave a popular choice in a wide variety of applications, ranging from biscuit baking to sorting small mechanical components.

Also known within the industry as Compound Balanced belting, Cordweave belt is essentially a Balanced Spiral belt which has multiple spirals and cross rods per pitch, effectively creating a “belt within a belt”. This structure closes up the apertures within the belt, giving Cordweave its characteristic high density and flat surface.

By offering a flat carrying surface with little open area, Cordweave is a popular choice for applications as diverse as bottle-annealing to baking small snack products. Cordweave is particularly popular in baking applications as its high density construction ensures auniform heat transfer through to the product.

Features:

  • High resistance against acid, alkaline, chemical, abrasion and corrosion.
  • Smooth conveying surface minimize marks and provide easy accurate conveying.
  • Small open area. The compound weave conveyor belt has a little open area, which is suitable to conveyor the small items.
  • High tensile strength. The compound weave conveyor belt has multiple spirals and cross rods on each pitch, so it can supply higher tensile strength than other types of conveyor belt.
  • High-temperature resistance. The compound weave conveyor belt is made of high-quality materials, including stainless steel 310s,314 and nickel alloy steel.314 stainless steel wire can withstand high temperature up to 1000-1500 °C.
  • Durable and long service life. The unique structure and high-quality material can ensure the long service life of compound conveyor belt.
  • Uniform heating. Provides uniform heat transfer across the belt.
  • Baffles can be added. Different types of baffles can be added at the both side and center of conveyor belt for sorting and conveying.
  • the belt has high Tensile strength ,so it can be used to transport heavier materials.
